Our annual Homeowner’s Association meeting is coming up soon.  Please see below for the Agenda.

Overview of past year

 1.  Accomplishments 

• Roadwork to reduce/eliminate erosion runoff on Snow Peak and Red Tail Hawk. Bar ditch and excavation of Red Tail Hawk Rd to allow access to the pumps for Water Board. Bar Ditch on Snow Peak Rd to reduce water run-off to property owners. Clearing dirt off Pajaro Azul and adding small boulders between it and the adjoining road running by cemetery.
• Initiated contact with County to get help for Overlook to reduce rain run-off to property on Snow Peak and Overlook. County sent out utility workers to identify and mark Overlook utility lines – no further action as yet to correct road.
• Continued interaction with Association of Placitas area HOAs including initiation of Water Boards exchange of ideas.
• Reminder that homeowners are responsible for run-off water that has a deleterious effect on the roads.
• Passed on information to homeowners obtained at Association of Placitas Area HOAs regarding leading cause of home theft is failure to bring garbage cans in after garbage pick-up with recommendations to make arrangements with neighbors to bring them in if owner will be gone for some time.

 2.  Spending and Current Status of Finances

• Compile member address and phone list.
• Weed control (tumbleweeds and other weed control).
• Fire Department (Volunteer Unit or Sandoval County Fire Chief) assessment and advice for fire prevention and control.
